SO yeah, this is Zenithos, my badass Duskblade from the DnD group back home. Zen is one of my absolute favorite characters i have, next to Diz (aka Ambassitor Prof. Dizillian Van Thunderspark The Ressurected Golem Slayer and Brain Crusher)
So yah, the miniature is from reapermini.com. His armor is metalic paint and the rest is acrylic.
I love how this one came out. Took 3 days (oh shit my finals X_X) Marvel in his badassness. MARVEL AT IT!
You, sir, continue to amaze me with your figure paints. The black-to-red effect on the cape is marvelous, as is the attention to detail on the armor and sword. The ground you have him standing on (is that a dungeon tile?) is just icing on the cake. (Unrelated to the figure, I know, but still a nice idea.)

yah, i had him stand on a dungeon tile partially for the effect and partially for support. In order to take a proper pictire of him i needed to somehow get him level with the camera, so i got a mini tripod and had him stand on top of a roll of paper towels. the tile helped keep him balanced and also hid the towels XD
Yeah i tried to put alot of effort into this one XD he's the coolest mini figure i have plus one of my favorite characters.

That is wicked XD You could stick a fleshwash (medium brown watered down 50/50) on his skin and his golden armour to bring out the recesses, then drybrush the skin with the same flesh colour you used initially
btw that cape is badass, loving the blending technique!
glad u lieked it Yah im still a noob when it comes to mixing and drybrushing. most of the colors i used so far have been right out of the bottle, aside from the acrylics. That darkened silver i used for the blade and parts of his inner torso is the only metalic mix ive attempted so far (silver+shiny black 1:1) and it came out nice.
The next one i paint im definately gunna try that
